Roles Description 

 The CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical devices and equipment using CAD software. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are functional and meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on specifications and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and product designers to create and modify designs.
• Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Perform simulations and stress analysis on designs to assess feasibility and performance.
• Review and verify design plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare documentation and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
• Maintain and update CAD libraries and databases.
• Assist in the development and improvement of CAD processes and best practices.
• Provide support and training to junior CAD designers and engineers. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and civil design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 3D modeling, simulations, and design analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Certification in CAD software (e.g., Autocad Certified Professional).
• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics industry.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
