Role Description

As an MEP Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and modeling of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities and other high-technology industrial projects.


In this role, you will collaborate closely with our clients in the United States, supporting engineering projects in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. You will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, and technically sound engineering solutions while gaining exposure to international design standards and large-scale infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities


Understand and apply Mechanical and Electrical engineering principles in project execution.


Perform engineering calculations, technical analysis, and prepare construction drawings and design documentation.


Develop and review MEP system layouts, schematics, and detailed engineering models.


Identify design challenges and proactively develop practical engineering solutions.


Review vendor drawings, equipment submittals, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.


Verify engineering designs for quality, constructability, and adherence to applicable standards.


Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate design alternatives to optimize project cost and performance.


Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, structural, process, and project management professionals to ensure seamless integration of building systems.


Support project execution while maintaining quality standards, schedules, and client expectations.


Continuously improve engineering practices through innovation and adherence to industry best practices.



Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

0–3 years of engineering design experience (Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply).

Knowledge of one or more of the following:


  •  HVAC systems
  •  Fluid mechanics
  •  Machine design
  •  Electrical power distribution systems
  •  Substations and power generation
  •  Control schematics and wiring diagrams
  •  Short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination studies
  •  Building MEP systems


Experience with one or more engineering software platforms such as:


1. AutoCAD

2. Understanding of relevant engineering codes and standards (such as NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC, IMC, or equivalent standards) is preferred.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

5. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

6. Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines.


Preferred Skills


Understanding of Revit MEP


Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.


Knowledge of semiconductor, industrial, pharmaceutical, or commercial facility design.


Exposure to US engineering standards and construction documentation.


Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality.




Professional Certifications


Selected candidates may be required to obtain professional certifications and complete internal technical training programs relevant to their assigned engineering discipline.


Working Model


This is a full-time On-site position based in Pune, Maharashtra.
